"Longwood pediatrics is fabulous! I tend to be a huge researcher before making any big decisions and all of my research on pediatricians led me back to longwood. They are truly wonderful.
My one year old daughter sees Dr OConnor. We think he is awesome! We have seen him several times over the past year and he has always been great. He is very knowledgable, patient, and is always willing to answer any questions that we have. He is not an overly "warm and fuzzy" kind of doctor (which I usually gravitate towards) but I really like him--he always talks to our baby and reassures her when he is examing her which is really nice. He is not at all cold or uncaring and I have never found him to be dismissive of us or our concerns at all. On the contrary he seems to care about our daughter and understand our concerns while being very smart/knowledgeable--which makes a great combination
We also saw Drs Young and Ryan in the hospital. They were both great! And we saw Dr Binney the other day when our daughter had a rash. She was also really nice and patient (even while our daughter was screaming at the top of her lungs because she wanted out of the doctors office) and while she could have ushered us out quickly after examing my screaming daughter she even took the time to get Dr OConnor so he could take a quick look at the rash to know what was going on with our daughter. I found that to be really nice. Longwood really seems to function well as a team which I think is really great.

"Longwood pediatrics is a great practice. It has a strong affiliation with Children's hospital. We are big fans of several doctors we've seen (dr. Young, Dr. Cloherty), but NOT for Dr. Menzin who is our baby's primary. To be fair, she is capable. But if you are looking for a caring physician who is willing to listen and address parent's concerns, look elsewhere. ..."

"I take my 3 month old daughter to Dr. Daniel O'Connor at Longwood Pediatrics and really like him. I find him to be compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. Not exactly Brookline, but just next door...."

"We love Longwood Peds too - we used to see Dr. Scott, but she retired, so now we see Dr. Binney. The nurses are great, their call back response time is great, and the fact that they are right across the street from Children's Hospital is very comforting...."
