"The Vaccaro guys refinished the pine 2nd floor of my house -- arrived on-time or early, did quality work for a decent price, answered my questions directly and informatively, and left the place quite clean. The second floor of my house has very limited access and they also got their equipment up and down with no damage to the house, equipment or themselves. "Vacarro uses only oil-based polyurethane, three coats. Superior in durability to water-based finishes that other companies use (in my opinion), but less convenient. Oil requires a day to dry between coats, and it's best to have a few days more without shoes directly on the floor (and the fumes will linger for a few days, as well). This was fine for us, as we were able to let them do all the wood floors in our new house some time before we moved in. ..." more...
